Enterprise Architect
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for leading a team of developers and architects to design and build CCA’s service-oriented architecture.  CCA's systems have largely grown up from a small-company environment to an environment requiring high availability, accessibility, ease of use, technological sophistication, reliability in handling complex data, and large user base. Integration between and among technology layers is vital to maintaining accurate, timely and robust service delivery to our members and providers.   Working closely with the business, application and IT infrastructure teams, the Enterprise Architect will analyze business and technical problems, and develop the appropriate SOA framework to deliver business solutions that meet CCA business’s needs.
  • Responsible for analyzing and translating business, information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to achieve business objectives.
  • Works with business analysts, application developers, and infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual design for the project.
  • Understands, advocates and augments principles of information technology strategies.
  • Analyzes enterprise business drivers to determine change requirements.
  • Analyzes current architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvement such as improving business processes, expanding capacity, reducing time and cost, and increasing effectiveness.
  • Integrates application silos into a cohesive architecture to improve efficiency and throughput, and to reduce support and maintenance costs.
  • Develops data archiving strategy and oversees decommissioning of obsolete systems.
  • Analyzes technology and market trends, and determines opportunities for infrastructure improvements.
  • Works with business, data and technology architects to develop solution delivery guidelines.
  • Ensures enterprise architecture is consistent with IT strategy and is able to meet business’s needs.
  • Develops road map for evolution of the enterprise application portfolio from current to future state.
  • Coordinates solution architecture implementation and modification activities.
  • Facilitates evaluation and selection of software product standards, as well as the design of standard software configurations.
  • Identifies organizational and system impacts caused by architectural changes.
  • Ensures all solution architecture design and analysis work is properly documented.
  • Builds and maintains credibility and trust across management and business partners.
  • Ability to translate business needs into solutions that work.
  • Ability to understand the long- and short-term perspectives of business priorities.
  • Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems.
  • At least 5 years of experience in application design and development, application integration, middleware, ESB, database management or operations, information security, technical architecture, etc.
  • Previous healthcare experience is desirable.
  • Proven ability to develop detailed solution designs.
  • Understands architecture constructs (architecture/design patterns, SOAP, REST etc.) and development methodologies (Agile, Iterative, Waterfall etc.).
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills: articulate and effective communicator and presenter, able to describe complex problems and solutions in simple or understandable terms.
  • Experience working with end users to gather requirements and build technical solutions from concept to implementation.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and delegate responsibilities.
  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
