We enjoy a company culture of passionate advocacy in a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and learning, competitive salaries, and a generous and comprehensive benefit package.As a key member of the Government Relations team, the Government Relations Policy Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Vice President and the Director of Government Relations as needed; including but not limited to tracking and summarizing pending state and federal legislation and assessing their impact on CCA. The Government Relations Policy Analyst will attend and report on committee hearings and other events in state and federal government arenas and will work with CCA’s public relations and marketing resources to track relevant news that impacts CCA. In addition, the analyst is responsible for review and analysis of CMS and EOHHS policy pronouncements and work with the Vice President and Director to coordinate CCA responses to such pronouncements; and is primarily responsible for editing a bi-weekly internal Government Relations newsletter.The position will analyze and determine the impact on CCA from:
- Federal and State legislation
- Federal and State hearings
- Federal and State Policy
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 3-5 years in Public Policy or Government Affairs or equivalent work experience plus education.
- Background in and/or degree in health policy – specifically Medicare and Medicaid (MassHealth)
- Travel required in Massachusetts and to Washington, DC.

- A working knowledge of federal and Massachusetts legislative relations and politics.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Health plan background a plus.
